A communication campaign to help fellow students and others spread the word of saving on water.
Project Aqua is all about communicating to everyone the value of saving water. It encourages the people (students and teachers) at Byrd Middle School and outside community members to save water in a fun and efficient way. If everyone helps save water, we can save millions of gallons, stop the world from drought, and save lives. For Project Aqua, the team passed out flyers to students and neighbors, put up original posters around campus and in classrooms, presented in different classes during Homeroom, created an informational website about saving water, and published a board game about saving water. It is a monopoly style game about saving water and everyone in the household can play.
